Our Mission

The mission of Association of Georgia Real Estate Appraisers (AGREA) is to support a high standard of integrity and professionalism in the appraisal industry, while improving our expertise and profitability.  We serve as an industry-wide clearinghouse for valuable data sources, provide opportunities to share appraisal industry best-practices, and build a professional network of associates with real estate expertise throughout the state of Georgia.

Community Service

Chairperson:  communityservice@AGREA.org

The Community Service Committee plans regular activities for member participation. AGREA works with youth, seniors, and other community groups on projects throughout the AGREA coverage area.

Membership

Chairperson:  membership@AGREA.org

The Membership Committee organizes all efforts to attract and retain members, including New Member Orientation mixers and attendance at events where the other professional appraisers are present.

Social & Cultural

Chairperson:  socialevents@AGREA.org

The Social & Cultural Committee coordinates regular activities for member participation. The committee actively seeks venues that speak to the tastes of our membership, for parties, networking mixers, excursions, and other activities.

Public Relations

Chairperson: news@AGREA.org 

The Public Relations Committee manages all communications, including the AGREA external quarterly newsletter, social media applications, media relations, and regular e-mail updates to members and partners.

Personal & Professional Development

Chairperson: development@AGREA.org

The PPD Committee is responsible for AGREA’s programming needs, including the Personal & Professional Development workshops.  The committee also hosts networking mixers.

Political Awareness

The Political Awareness Committee keeps AGREA upto date on Georgia State house bills, HVCC and laws that effect our members.
